Telangana CM Revanth Reddy assures Metro rail phase 2 completion by 2029 in Hyderabad

The 78-km phase 2 of Hyderabad Metro Rail, costing ₹2,675 crore, will be completed by 2029. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy said funding would involve contributions from the Centre, state, loans, and PPP mode. He criticized the previous government’s neglect of the Old City. The project will expand Metro connectivity to various key areas, replacing the earlier BRS plan.
