Journalist commits suicide by consuming pesticides

A journalist in Srikakulam district committed suicide by consuming pesticides. In his suicide note, he accused MLA Gorle Kiran Kumar and YSRCP leader Lankalapalli Gopi of harassing him. The deceased, identified as Girija Damodar, was found lifeless in Ranastalam mandal. Damodar's family members and relatives blamed the MLA and the YSRCP leader for his suicide. The police have registered a case and sent the body for postmortem in Srikakulam's RIMS.
