'Delta variant mutates, drug cocktail may not work'

The Delta variant (B.1.617.2), first discovered in India, has now acquired a new mutation to emerge as Delta+ (B.1.617.2.1). Also called AY.1 the Delta+ (Delta plus) mutant has acquired K417N mutation.
