Big boost as govt hosps get 3,000 more oxygen beds

The state government has swung into action by organising 3,010 additional oxygen beds in government hospitals. A thousand of them will have ventilators and other paraphrenalia to treat seriously ill Covid-19 patients. Four hundred of these beds will be given to the state-run Gandhi Hospital.
