Covid-19: Telangana tests 70,000 for 1st time

At a time when there is a fear of a second Covid wave, health officials on Tuesday conducted 70,280 tests, the highest number of tests since the first infection case came to light on March 2, 2020. Of 70,280 samples tested, 431 returned a positive result, according to a health bulletin issued on Wednesday. The number of cases in the last 24 hours was also highest single-day figure this year.
