Hyderabad may get light to moderate rain today

The city is likely to receive light to moderate rains on Friday in view of cyclone Nivar which is likely to weaken into a deep depression. Following Nivar’s landfall in coastal Andhra Pradesh, the city had cloudy overcast on Thursday. As per the Telangana State Development Planning Society, some areas such as Alwal, Moulali, Khairatabad, Asifnagar, Charminar, Monda Market among others received 1-23 mm of rainfall on Thursday.
