T'gana: In 24 hrs, record surge of 3k Covid cases

Telangana on Wednesday registered the highest single-day surge of 3,018 new Covid-19 cases since the outbreak and 10 deaths, but authorities attributed the numbers to more vigorous testing across the state. Testing jumped to 61,040, reaching the highest count with authorities ramping up sample collection. The number of samples tested per million population now stands at 29,146 in the state.
