Occupancy dives, Hyd hosps reel under huge losses

With occupancy plummeting from 90-95 percent to nearly 20 percent since the beginning of the lockdown, private and corporate hospitals are reeling under major losses and are taking measures to cut down overhead costs. Some are even renegotiating rentals and deferring payments on rentals. Even once the lockdown is lifted hospitals are staring at 4-6 months of minimal occupancy, due to social distancing norms and say that availability of hospital beds will have to be halved.
