OU prof detention: Cops unable to decrypt devices

The Telangana police have informed the high court that Maoists were using pretty good privacy (PGP) encryption to store their data and even forensic experts were finding it difficult to crack it. Police stated this in their affidavit filed in Osmania University associate professor Ch Kaseem’s detention case.
