T'gana: Dying Kapra lake set for a new life

Plans are afoot to turn Kapra lake in the city into a haven for birds. The development comes as a part of the Centre’s plan to revive 100 wetlands across the country. A source working with the ministry of environment and climate change said that among the water bodies identified in the state for revival are Kapra in the city and Pakhal in Warangal. “Stakeholders in every state have been informed to send proposals regarding their plan to revive these wetlands,” he said.
