If TRS wins elections, GHMC may see early polls

GHMC’s five-year term will end in February 2021 but, in all likelihood, may see an early poll. The TRS government’s thinking is to go ahead with polls in early 2020 if the party walks away with a majority urban local bodies in Rangareddy and Mechal-Malkajgiri districts in the January 22 elections.
