The Andhra Pradesh cabinet on Friday deferred taking a decision on the G N Rao committee’s proposal to set up three capital cities. Minister for information and public relations Perni Venkatramaian (Nani) said the government would appoint a high-level committee to study the proposals of G N Rao committee as well as a report by Boston Consulting Group (BCG) on development of various cities and districts in the state, including Amaravati. He said the government would take its decision based on recommendations of the high-level committee.
