Snakebite deaths 2nd highest in Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh (AP) has logged the second-highest number of snakebite deaths and cases in the country after West Bengal in 2018, according to figures put out by the Union ministry of health and family welfare. In the country, 885 deaths and 1.64 lakh snakebite cases were reported in 2018.
