Left alliance sweeps polls for students union at UoH

In a significant development, the Left alliance at the University of Hyderabad, which had once spearheaded a pro-Dalit movement after the suicide of research scholar Rohith Vemula in 2016, swept the students union polls at the central university, defeating the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) alliance.
