Habeebnagar police on Saturday arrested a fraudster who duped three people of Rs 31 lakh by promising to secure them government jobs. The accused is Moinuddin Chisty, 44, from Karimnagar. In 2015, Moinuddin gained the confidence of Zafar Nazamuddin Khan, Wasi Ahmed and Abdul Quader and told them he has good contacts with government officials. “The accused told the three men that he can secure them jobs in rural development department and collected Rs 31.75 lakh from them,” Habeebnagar inspector P Shiva Chandra said.
