Delhi woman gets 10-year jail for peddling cocaine worth Rs 10cr

A 27-year-old woman from Delhi, who was caught at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport three years ago with cocaine worth Rs 10 crore, was awarded a 10-year jail sentence by a local court in Rangareddy on Friday. Jyothy Jha, then 24, was smuggling 1.99kg of cocaine from Dubai when she was arrested. A Nigerian peddler, for whom she worked, fled the country soon after her arrest.
