Family and friends fondly call Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, a 2004 Dundigal Air Force Academy pass out, as 'Abhi'. On Wednesday though, concerns about his well-being grew after a video released by Pakistan showed him being attacked by a mob and captured by security forces after his MiG-21 crashed.
